My rug takes 22 oz of regular Peaches n Cream. I used KP 2 for a gauge of 16st X 20rws after washing and drying. You will need 5 strips, and when you put them together, reverse everyother one so you get a checker board effect. Using a closed edge cast on, cast on 30 sts. K 45rws turn with garter bar repeat process 4 more times. Bind off. Make 5 strips. Seam together reversing everyother strip. Crochet around edges. I sewed mine to an old beach towel that needed recycling. I love these because they can be made as big as you want, and they wash well. I have been playing with the idea of double stranding a rug. I'll let you know how it turns out. Fern, in IL fekhek@apci.net
