These sweaters unless amounts are given are made with odd balls of yarn.
It has been a long time for me, my baby is 23. Child bride!!!
Condo Set for doll:-
Keyplate # 3
Cast on closed edge 15 stitches each side of )= 30 stitches.
Knit 5 rows - Ladder up in ribe every second stitch.
Change to Keyplate # 4
Knit 18 rows
Change back to Keyplate # 3
Knit 5 rows. - Ladder up every second stitch and latch off.
Make (2) of the above.
Join shoulder seams.
Making sure that centre shoulder seam is at "O" pick up 10
stitches each side for a total of 20 stitches.
Keyplate # 4
Knit straight for 12 rows.
Change to Keyplate # 3
Knit 5 rows - ladder up every second stitch and latch off.
Repeat for other sleeve.
Rompers:-
Make the same as front and back of sweater. Place right sides
together and sew side seams for 2.5 " for waist. Turn work
inside out so that side seams now become the centre front and centre back
of the
rompers. Sew from the ribbing up left leg to crotch and down
right leg to finish.

Pantusuit, Hat and Scarf:-
Sport weight yarn, 100 grams of A - 50 grams of B
Pants:-
Using Keyplate 2 Classic and Keyplate # 5 Elite
Cast on 28 stitches each side of "O"
knit 4 rows - convert to rib.
Knit 30 rows straight.
Cast off one stitch the beginning of the next 3 rows.
Knit straight to RC 46
Knit 4 rows - convert to rib and cast off.
Make another leg the same, reversing shaping so that you cast
off one
stitch the end of the next three rows.
Sew up seams and sew elastic thread through for casing. I like
to
crochet a scallop edging on the top and crochet a small tie to go
through these.
Sweater:-
Using Keyplates as stated above caston 48 stitches,
Knit 4 rows and convert to rib.
Knit 4 rows with B
Knit 6 rows with A
Repeat above rows until piece is RC 50
Knit 10 stitches, cast off or place on holder next 26 stitches,
knit 10.
Knit 4 rows on each of the set of 10 stitches on each side for
shoulders.
scrap off on waste yarn.
Make another piece identical to first piece.
Sleeves:-
With waste yarn cast on 36 stiches and work 6 rows.
Change to main yarn and knit in same seques as back to row
counter 30 Knit
4 rows, Convert to rib.
Neck Band - Pick up and rehang 60 stitches around the neckedge.
Knit 4 rows - convert to rib.
Crochet or sew loops along front shoulder opening. Set in
sleeves
and sew up seams on the machine of course.
Hat:-
With waste yarn cast on 70 stitches
knit 6 rows
Change to main colour and knit 4 rows - convert to rib.
knit 4 rows of A
6 rows of B
Repeat three times more.
Rc 034
Transfer every second stitch onto adjacent needle - 35 stitches
on frame
Knit one row. Cast off on waste yarn. Remove waste yarn and draw
through
to form a cap. seam up sides on the machine, of course, and make
a pompom for the top.
Scarf:-
With wast yarn cast on 20 stithces,
work in socking stitch and stripe sequence until length desired
usually about
Rc 120. Gather ends and add a tassel or fringe as desired.
If knitting for a teddy bear use Keyplate # 3, and Keyplate # 7`

Chenille Jacket - Our answer to Alfred Sung
200 grams of chenille type wool.
Back:-
With waste yarn and Keyplate 4 or 8 consecutively, cast on 20
stitches,
Scrap on waste yarn for 6 rows. Change to chenille ( wax those
keyplates )
Knit 24 rows, E-wrap cast on 4 stitches the beginnng of the next
two rows.
Rc026
Working one side at a time increase one stitch begininning of
every
other row to14 stithces.
RC036
Beginning of the next row cast off 4 stitches for sleeve edge
RC037
Continue straight on remaining ten stitches. for 20 rows.
RC057
Cast off loosely.
Return to remaining stiches and slip l0 stitches for neck onto
waste yarn and remove.
Rejoin yarn to remaining 9 stithces, work until same measurements
as first side.
Cast off loosely.
Neckband -
With right side facing beginning at front edge pick up and
rehang 6 stitches front neck,
rehang 10 stitches from holder, 6 stitches down front neck
edge,
Knit 4 rows, ladder up and cast off loosely.
Belt:- Cast on with e-wrap 50 stitches
knit 2 rows,
Cast off loosely.

My heart goes out to you....... Remember this may look very countrified

in computer handdrawing there is a line between,so try on graph paper,
just

Hi Everyone,
Here is a simple cardigan for the Am. Girl Doll. I used a BOND but
any mid-gauge would work.
Wool Ease Yarn (DK yarn)
Gauge 4.5 sts/inch 6 rows/inch
Keyplate 2 or about Tension 5 or 6 on a mid-gauge
Back
Cast on with waste yarn 33 stitches ( ribs will be done last)
Change to Wool Ease yarn Knit 35 rows
divide the stitches: 11 for each shoulder and 11 for the neck using
waste yarn or yarn holders or bind off which ever is easier for you
Front
CO 16 st with waste yarn and change to main yarn
Knit 28 rows and start neckline shaping
Dec 2 stitches at neck edge
Row 30 dec 2 st at neck edge
Row 32 dec 1 st at neck edge
Knit 3 rows
Place 11 stitches for shoulder on waste yarn or yarn holder
Repeat for the other Front; be sure you make the mirror image!
Seam shoulders
Measure approx. 3.6 inches from shoulder for sleeve (total of about
7.3 inches is the sleeve width at the top) and pick up 33 to 34 sts.
Knit 6 rows and dec 1 st each side; repeat 3x for a total decrease
of 4 stitches each side.
Knit 2 or 3 more rows for a total of about 26 rows.
For ribbing knit 4 more rows then drop every other row and convert to
ribbing. Bind off with back stitch. Repeat for the other sleeve.
Lower band: pick up stitches at lower end and knit 4 rows and convert
to ribbing.
Neck band: pick up a total of approx. 35 stitches and knit 4 rows and
convert to ribbing
Center front: crochet 1 or 2 row of single crochet along both sides.
Make buttonholes if desired. For ribbing pick up about 24 stitches
along the side and knit 3 rows and convert to ribbing. I prefer to
crochet the center bands.
To help you design your own pattern here are the dimensions
for the American Girl doll:
Chest 11 can vary because of stuffing
Waist 11 can vary because of stuffing
Hips 12.5 to 12.75
Back length from base of neck to waist about 4 inches
Shoulder width about 5
Arm length about 6
wrist 3 3/8
upper arm 4.25
neck 5 5/8
head 12.5

Subject: [BOND] dolls
DOLL PATTERN: (size 15" tall)
1.BODY & HEAD: Beg at lower edge, k rectangle 8" x 6" using body
color(s). When piece measure approx. 7" dec for shoulders 1 st at beg of
each row for 6 rows. Drop yarn and attach head color. Inc 1 st at beg of
each row for 7 rows for neck. K 3" more. Break off yarn and draw
through sts on needle.Tighten and secure after sewing back seam and
lower edge and then stuffing them firmly.
2. LEGS: Beg at lower edge, k 2 rectangles 3 1/2" x 6". Break off yarn
and draw through sts on needle, then fold in half lenthwise, and sew
back seam. Stuff firmly. Sew top seeam and attach to body.
3. ARMS: Beg at upper edge, k2 rectangles 3" x 5 1/2", having last 8
rows the same color as face. Draw yarn through and sew seam. Stuff and
close. Attach to body below neck.
I wouldn't bother knitting clothes for them. My recommendation is after
the doll is together; just wrap cloth, lace, buttons, etc. around
themwith craft glue or a hot glue gun. Glue or hand sew on a hat,
collar, skirt, blouse, etc. Maybe even a small basket !
