I copied the knitting graph paper onto my computer then import a picture into my paint program. The import the graph paper and set it to appear opaque. Then I have a picture with a graph over top of it. Then simply print out. This only works with the type of files that my paint program accepts but I have been able to get some good results this way. I was in ACMoore and saw transparent chart paper in different counts..(in cross stitch area).. you put your picture behind it and line the squares etc...wouldn't that work if you couldn't find what you want ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Feb 2000 10:20:20 -0600 From: "Jim Simmons"http://www2.datasync.com/orionSubject: Re: [BOND] software, anyone? Barb, If you have a scanner, computer editing program (one usually comes with the scanner) and a printer that's all you need. (1) Scan the item (2) Edit it for proper size (3) Rotate it horizontally (Make a mirror image of it). If you knit from 'top-down' you can also rotate it vertically. (4) Put a page of pre-printed graph paper in your printer (5) Print the image Simple, and it works. Jim Simmons orion@datasync.com
