Rehang with right side facing and using keyplate # 2 Knit 12 rows white. Knit 4 rows burgundy Knit 12 rows white. Latch up every third stitch and cast off loosely. Make a twisted cord at least 14 inches long and two tassels for male or pom poms for female. Seam side seams, flip the band back so that the right side is out. Turn the top lace hole to the inside and matching the lace holes on the lower half thread a twisted cord through. Pull tightly and add a tassel or pompom, this allows for breathing room for hikers, a pony tail through for the teens. - -------------------------- Scarf:- Using keyplate # 3 and white worsted weight wool cast on with closed edge 60 stitches. Knit 12 rows in white. Knit 4 rows in burgundy. Knit 12 rows in white.
