Bond Machine Knitting - LusterSheen Sweater Pattern

Subject: [BOND] LusterSheen Sweater

I did this with my main color being magenta. Then my contrasting
colors for the stripes were white and blueberry. Hope ya'll
enjoy!

Scoop neck, hip length pullover sweater with cap sleeves and
single band collar.

Woman’s size 44

YARN DESCRIPTION:
Luster Sheen - 100% Acrylic - Machine Wash and Dry

GAUGE DATA:
Body knitted using keyplate 2
Ribbing knitted using keyplate 1
Gauge 17.5 sts X 24.0 rows = 4"

NOTE: At most, 108 needles are required to knit the body of this
garment; but the collar requires 120 needles.

BACK:
1.  Cast on 108 sts in WY, using open edge method and keyplate 2.
K 6 R. Then knit one row ravel cord. Change to MY.
2.  Knit 100 R.
3.  Change to CC1 (I used white here) and K 3 R.
4.  Change to CC2 (here I used the blueberry) and K 6 R
5.  Change to CC1 (white again) again and K 3 R.
6.  Change back to MY. K2 R. Total of 114 rows.
7.  Mark this row at each end for armholes.
8.  K 48 R for a total of 162 rows.
9.  thread center 42 sts onto WY for back neck. Remove the 33 sts
on each side onto WY.

FRONT:
1 - 7 same as for back. COR.
8.  K 24 R. Total of 126 rows.
9.  Shape neck.  COR.  Thread center 14 sts onto WY.  47 sts on
each side.
10.  Right neck. Place LH needles in HP. Dec 1 st at neck edge
every row 7 times, then dec 1 st at neck edge every other row 7
times, until 33 sts remain.
11.  Knit 15 rows even. For a total of 162 rows.
12.  Change to WY and K 6 R. Move needles to HP.
13.  Left neck. COL work as for right neck, reversing shapings.

BACK AND FRONT RIBBING:
1.  With wrong side of work facing, hook first row onto 102
needles, (putting 2 sts onto 6 needles evenly spaced across the
row.) and using keyplate 2 knit 1 row.
2.  Thread every other st onto WY and the empty needles into NWP
3.  Change to keyplate 1. K 6 R.
4.  Convert to 1 X 1 rib.
5.  Cast off loosely using backstitch.

LEFT SHOULDER SEAM:
Graft shoulder seam on 33 sts.

SCOOP NECK SINGLE BAND COLLAR:
1.  Bring out 120 needles to HP.
2.  With wrong side of work facing, rehang 42 sts from back neck
edge, 32 sts from left front neck edge, 14 sts from front neck
edge and 32 sts from right neck edge..
3.  Using keyplate #1. K 6 R. Convert to 1 X 1 rib. Cast off
loosely using backstitch.

RIGHT SHOULDER SEAM:
Same as for left except using 39 sts to allow for neck band.

SIDE SEAMS:
Sew side seams by hand.
Weave in all loose ends.
