Peach and Green Cushions These cushions were made from offcuts of material from a local fabric shop. I used either buttons or ribbon as fasteners, instead of the standard zip closure. |

Yellow and Blue Cushions I made these cushion covers for a family member, again using offcuts of material. They look great with the blue and yellow colour scheme in her lounge. |

Bag Tubes A wonderful invention. By far the best and most attractive way to stash those useful plastic bags. Follow these easy steps to make them: 1) Cut a rectangle of fabric any size (eg approx. 10" by 16"). 2) Hem the top and bottom (short edges). 3) Sew a piece of thin elastic (using an elastic stitch on a sewing machine) across the hemline at the top. Repeat for bottom. 4) Sew a short piece (approx. 7") of cord or ribbon to the top in 2 equally-spaced places to create a hanging loop. 5) Sew the edge seam (the long edge). 6) Turn inside out - voila, one bag tube! |

Quilted Bed Set This is the first patchwork/quilted bed set that I made and sold at a local craft fair. It comprised of a quilted patchwork comforter, patchwork pillowcases, and a small scatter cushion. |

Blue and Yellow Quilt This quilt was ordered by somebody who saw the first quilt at the craft fair where it was sold. The request was for blues and yellows, and I used fairly deep blue cotton sheeting for the back and border, with embroidery thread crosses in blue and yellow over the patchwork square joins. It was very well received, I'm glad to say. |

Road to Motherhood Quilt I made this quilt as a gift for my best friend. She had been asking me for a quilt since she saw the first one I made (above), and was delighted when I gave it to her for Christmas 1999. I made this one using squares of blues and greens as they are my friend's favourite colours. I decided to name the quilt "Road to Motherhood" as I made it during my first pregnancy. |
