Bridal Attire

The Garter

This beautiful garter was hand crocheted by Rae French - List Magistrate for the Crochet Partners List. She sent it to me as a wonderful surprise gift just before the wedding.

It's not too clear on the pictures, but there are lots of tiny beads along the bottom edge of the garter - incredible!
I added some elastic to the back to hold it up more securely. The ribbons were peach to match my colours for the day, and blue for tradition.

Thank you Rae; I will always treasure this. :-)

The Headdress

I wore a headdress of silk flowers and pearl strings, to match the rest of the outfit.
The flowers worked well as they are various tones of peach through to terracotta - my favourite!
